The road to the Breeders' Cup goes through Saratoga Race Course this Saturday with three "Win and You're In" races scheduled: The Resorts World Casino Sword Dancer Stakes, the Ketel One Ballerina Stakes and the Personal Ensign Stakes Presented by Lia Infiniti. Watch live-streaming coverage from Saratoga hosted by America's Best Racing's Dan Tordjman and NBC Sports' Matt Bernier. The team will be joined live on set by special guests throughout the afternoon including a range of personalities, analysts and handicappers. The Ballerina is a key prep and a "Win and You're In" Challenge Series race for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. In 2007, the Ballerina winner Maryfield went on to win the first running of the Filly & Mare Sprint. Recent winners of the Ballerina have included Serengetti Empress, Come Dancing and Marley's Freedom. The Personal Ensign is named after the Hall of Fame filly who won the 1988 Breeders' Cup Distaff. Now, the Personal Ensign Stakes is a "Win and You're In" for the Breeders' Cup Distaff. There have been two horses who've won the Personal Ensign Stakes and then went on to win the Breeders' Cup Distaff: Forever Unbridled (2017) and Beautiful Pleasure (1999). Source
