Manfred Roos, Longtime NEHBPA President, Dead at 88
Manfred “Manny” Roos, a prominent owner and breeder in New England and the former longtime president of the regional chapter of the National Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association, died peacefully on June 30. He was 88. Source

More Out-of-Competition Positives for Trainer Ramos
Ohio-based trainer Francisco Ramos has had five out-of-competition positive tests for clenbuterol since May 8. They followed a post-race positive for clenbuterol in April. The trainer was provisionally suspended May 31. Source
