40 Moments #2: American Pharoah Lands Grand Slam in Classic

It's the final countdown! For our #2 moment, we're chatting with #BreedersCup Ambassador and 2x World Series Champion Alex Bregman on American Pharoah's Grand Slam win in the Classic! Not only did American Pharoah win the American Triple Crown in 2015, but he became the first horse to win the Grand Slam of Thoroughbred racing when he dominated the 2015 Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) at Keeneland. In his career bow, the striking bay colt broke from the No. 4 post and moved quickly to the front, holding his place. American Pharoah’s finish set a track record time of 2:00.07 and secured his spot as the 2016 IFHA Longines World’s Best Racehorse. Source
