A resounding victory by Fierceness on Future Stars Friday at Santa Anita marked the third time a colt owned by Mike Repole and trained by Todd Pletcher has won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, following Forte last year and Uncle Mo in 2010. This time, however, was Repole’s first as the winning breeder, and connecting again on the big stage with jockey Johnny Velazquez made this year’s championship event all the Mo special. Source
